I'm particularly interested in urban and environmental policy, and how we can analyze data trends to better support communities and the environment. Here are a few of my projects and experience I have or am currently working on:

NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory

Leveraging machine learning and automation to enhance workflows across the team, particularly for system authentication infrastructure.

NASA L'SPACE Proposal Writing and Evaluation Experience (NPWEE)

Collaborated with a nationwide team of 12 students on a NASA-guided research proposal, focused on generating solutions for space navigation and communication, with an emphasis on efficient and secure data transmission.
Researched cybersecurity policies and procedures, brainstorming potential space-related vulnerabilities and proposing mitigation strategies.
Developed skills in writing and reviewing existing policies, new technology reports, and proposals under the mentorship of subject matter experts.

NASA Great Lunar Expedition for Everyone (GLEE)

Collaborated with a team of six students from three state-wide universities on a NASA-funded project to program a miniature spacecraft using C++ and Arduino IDE, collecting local surface data for future lunar mission application and implementation.

Altadena Fire Relief Policy Analysis

An on-going project that aims to analyze the detection, warning, and response procedures conducted during the 2025 Eaton fire, using geospatial data analysis to inform policy changes.

Los Angeles Public Libraries Policy Analysis

An on-going project that aims to analyze the distribution of public libraries per neighborhood in Los Angeles County, and whether they are distributed equitably depending on educational need.
Leveraging geospatial data analysis and machine learning models to provide policy recommendations to better support underserved neighborhoods.
